Appointed To Serve Making a Difference at a Women’s Shelter
As it was “Good Friday” A Message of inspiration was given to the women and their families. New Easter purses were given to the ladies. Each purse had special gifts designed for every woman’s personal needs.
Trip to Jamaica
On a trip to Jamaica our team adopted the Deeside New Testament Church of God in Trelawny Jamaica. Our aid to the church has included a Empowerment Women’s Conference where over 700 items were distributed including personal hygiene kits, books, CD’s ,Praise and Worship, therapeutic counseling, food and inspiring messages. On the yearly bases Dr. O. makes a point to go to Jamaica to sing for the Lord and provide financial blessings to assist with the building of the church.
Domestic Violence Women Shelter
We visit the Domestic Violence Women Shelter where women and their children flee for protection. On our visits we pray for empowerment, healing and restoration. We also give gift baskets, toys, and educational supplies.
Homeless Men’s Shelter
We visit a Homeless Men’s Shelter monthly to serve food. We also provide bus passes for the men to seek employment as well as other items particularly during the winter months.
Love For Women and Children
We have also visited an orphanage in Barett Town Jamaica and a shelter for women and children, to show our love for women and children.
Visiting the Elderly
We visit the elderly in the nursing home throughout the year with various gifts including basket of roses and hearts
